Virginia Ever-Green is locally owned and operated by Jim Thomas, a resident of the Prince William County community for the last 30 years. Before Virginia Ever-Green, Thomas owned a lawn care franchise for 20 years. Inspired to provide environmentally-friendly lawn care service, Thomas decided to launch his own lawn care and pest control company, utilizing organically driven products.

Virginia Ever-Green offers a wide range of services, including lawn fertilization, tree and shrub care, a cedar oil-based organic flea, tick and mosquito spray, core aeration and overseeding, lime application treatments, and grub prevention.

Creating Beautiful Lawns and Protecting the Environment

Virginia Ever-Green provides an alternative approach to traditional lawn care by using mostly organic fertilizers and minimal pesticide applications, giving you a healthy lawn with less damage to the environment. Our weed control treatments are liquid applications applied only to problem areas unless otherwise needed or requested. Our treatments are also designed to improve soil quality over time, an important consideration as Virginia soil has a heavy clay content that can be a challenge for effective lawn maintenance.

We provide both pre-emergent and post-emergent weed treatment. Our principal approach to weed control is based on the fact that a thick lawn is a natural barrier to weed germination. Therefore, we also encourage regular seeding and aeration to improve lawn thickness.

Chesapeake Bay Cleanup

A part of the Chesapeake Bay’s cleanup initiative, Virginia Ever-green has vowed to use only natural fertilizers and do our part in preventing chemicals from leaching into our waterways. This includes the cleanup, care, and maintenance of our products on every level.
